Feasting On God’s Faithfulness

I’ve been in the middle of several very trying situations.

I know in my “knower” that God is in control, but I really love that when I’m in the midst of a mess He leads me to verses in His Word that encourage me! I just read this:

Keep trusting in the Lord and what is right in His eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God and you will be secure, feasting on His faithfulness.

Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life, and He will provide for you what you desire the most. Psalm 37:3-5

Feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed.

Let God’s faithfulness and His past ways and times of caring for you–providing, nurturing, healing, restoring, protecting–fill your heart and mind to where your spirit is not lacking and there is no room for doubt and fear.

Feed on His past faithfulness–when the devil lies to you and says that God doesn’t care, much less see your situation, tell him to shut up and leave because you have proof! God has done and will do amazing things in your life!

He is working to bring all things together for our good. I like this. ALL things.

He gathers the occurrences of our lives, all situations, and weaves, orchestrates, and heals in such a way as to use it all and work in our lives to fulfill His purpose for our “good and to prosper us”.

We can trust that Word. We can trust Him.

That’s why stepping out of His way is important.

Feed on His faithfulness. He will feed you.

I’ve learned a lot. And I’ve healed a lot. I hope you will join me in my quest to live for God, to live fully, and to spread truth!
