Today I read those words from Your Worthy Self and I wanted to stand up and cheer!
For so many, many years, actually for decades, I lived my life trying to get everything right. Typical “People Pleaser” right here.
The thing about living like that? It’s exhausting. And depletes our joy. And we give other people power over us because we make “them” right.
So, here’s what I say. Decide what you want and go for it. Who cares if you make mistakes? So what if you miss at first? Give yourself some grace. And don’t give a darn what others think. (Many of them are hoping you fail because then it excuses their own fear. Did you know that?)
You owe it to your true self to attempt those things that you believe will fulfill your soul. What if you never go for it? You will always wonder what would have happened if you did–how your life might have changed for the better–what you may have learned along the way.
Don’t live with regrets. Just do it. With gusto and abandon!!
Because, you just never know!!
(Print out the above reminder and put it where you can read it daily. )
Live LOUD friends! You have one life. Live it with gusto!
Love and hugs, Passionista Mimi

These are my stories—my life. I try to write honestly, raw, and from my heart. I try to tell all the parts—the good, the hard, the tough, the hopeful, and the emotional.
But most importantly, I am here to be found by you. I am open-hearted, and I won’t hide.
When I share my story, my words, and my experiences you may see yourself in them.
I make myself vulnerable, hoping that you might learn and heal.
We all need healing. The world can be cruel. Sometimes life can break us.
But there is joy and hope to be found. I pray that I may lead you to the One who can give them to us.
So, who am I?
*I’m an educator at heart–it’s in my blood.
*I’m a highly emotional person–I identify that as “passion”.
*I’m a late-life mom to two amazing and beautiful (adopted) children who have physical, mental, and psychological differences from “typical” children.
*I’m in my “Sensational Sixties”. I’ve lived a lot. I’ve learned a lot. And I’ve healed a lot.
I hope you will join me in my quest to live for God, to live fully, and to spread truth!
